It’s gorgeous! 100% recommend! No weird smell, great quality I absolutely love it! I got my brother the same style dice tray from Amazon and it was hard to open, had a little smell to it, and just overall felt way cheaper. The base and lid is a lined dice tray, it fits a fair amount of dice, be careful with slightly larger sets as the D20s may only fit at corners.

Hi Tabitha, thank you for providing your feedback! The lids are designed to fit a bit tight so that they doesn't come off if you travel with dice in it. If helpful, I find that starting to open it in one area and then moving to open the opposite side allows me to get the lid off pretty quickly. I find that all my standard dice sets fit comfortably in the dice box, but please let us know if you are experiencing an issue with your tray and we would be happy to help!
